From the morning hours, while the conference with the theme 'The creative city and its economical development: what is Reggio Emilia's contribution? was going on in the Fonderia people were streaming in, showing great interest in these well determined and up-to-date topics, well suited to a producitve city as Reggio Emilia is. The various aspects shown in different lights by the speakers, gave view onto how creativity and economical development should be progressing hand-in-hand, supporting one another in a context, in which public and private entities cooperate with eachother following a common initiative. Which means that, when important, the part of the socalled "creatives" needs to detach from their actual operational area and instead, should provide a unique contribution in an economical dress-up.

The opening of the exhibitions of Kalimera, Italian Renaissance, l'atelier Raggio di Luce and the exhibition of Nicola Troilo took place from 4.00 pm Saturday afternoon; This network of events, running parallel, gave people a broad and varied scope of what today's tendencies of design, graphic arts, creativity, music and multimedia in Italy are.
Until midnight people kept streaming in, also thanks to the various consecutive activities happening throughout the day: Ministero della Grafica, Lomo with their Lomowall, the Otolab and the group I.R.R.S and their music performance.
The event is a starting point so as to reflect and work together towards possible developments of creativity, like through the efforts shown in Reggio Emilia. The project Italian Renaissance, after Reggio Emilia is departing to go On Tour in Europe but not only that.

In Reggio Emilia, from February 3rd to 24th, 2007, the show will take place in three sites that are part, in the territory, of the architectural and industrial recovery program.
